The Trajet 2.0 from the FO.2 generation was built from 2004 to 2008 as a seven-seat, front-wheel-drive MPV. A 2.0-litre Beta four-cylinder petrol engine makes 140 PS, and a 5-speed manual handles the gears.

STORY

Hyundai showed the Trajet at the London Motor Show in October 1999. It was a seven-seat people carrier for European sales from spring 2000. UK sales began on 1 June 2000: the 2.0 GSi cost 15,499 pounds on the road, and a 2.7-litre V6 was priced at 19,999 pounds and planned for that autumn, with a stated 167 bhp and 244 Nm and a standard four-speed automatic. The seven seats came from five rear seats that could each be removed and front seats that swivelled to face the back. A 2.0-litre common-rail turbo-diesel was announced for early 2001.
