The LS7 was IM Motors' first SUV, launched in 2023 above the LS6 as a large five-seat electric flagship. It drew attention for its very flexible cabin: a front passenger seat that slides fully forward and a rear seat that reclines almost flat, marketed as a "zero-gravity" lounge, plus a yoke-style steering wheel and a retractable rear window blind. It was built on SAIC's dedicated EV platform and shared its rear-wheel steering, air suspension and dual-motor hardware with the L7 sedan.
