STORY
The Q45 was Infiniti's original flagship, launched in 1990 with a 4.5L VH45DE V8 and distinctive grille-less front styling. Successive generations (FY33, then F50 from 2001) added the VH41DE and VK45DE V8s and technologies like the world's first laser-based adaptive cruise control. Slow sales ended the line in 2006, its role later assumed by the M/Q70.
