STORY

The Bellett was a compact sedan and coupé that established Isuzu as a serious passenger-car maker in the 1960s. Its sporting GT versions were among the first Japanese cars to wear a 'GT' badge, and it gained a reputation on the track with a lively chassis and available diesel engines. Independent rear suspension and a range of body styles made it advanced for its class.
