STORY

The Gemini was Isuzu's compact family car, originally derived from GM's global T-car and later developed into a front-wheel-drive model of its own. The second generation became famous through the Irmscher-tuned versions and its stunt-driving television commercials, and offered sporty ZZ twin-cam versions alongside frugal diesels. It was also sold internationally under various GM badges, reflecting Isuzu's close ties to General Motors.
