STORY

The Piazza was a wedge-shaped sport coupé styled by Giorgetto Giugiaro, evolving from his 'Asso di Fiori' concept into one of the most distinctive Japanese coupés of the 1980s. Built on Gemini underpinnings, it offered turbocharged twin-cam engines and later a chassis tuned 'by Lotus'. It was exported as the Impulse and is still admired for its clean Italian lines.
