STORY
The J3, sold domestically as the Tongyue, was built from 2008 to 2017 as a sedan and a hatchback. Its styling used input from the Italian design house Pininfarina, which JAC worked with at the time. It had a 1.3-litre petrol engine derived from a Mitsubishi design. It was sold worldwide under the JAC badge and assembled locally in several countries, including Iran and Egypt.
