STORY

The Yiwei 3 is a compact electric hatchback launched in 2023 under Yiwei, the EV brand JAC set up that year as it moved away from the Sehol name. It was one of the first production cars in the world offered with a sodium-ion battery, developed with HiNa Battery. The model showed JAC's intent to stand out on battery chemistry rather than compete on price alone.
