The T8 is JAC's larger and more upmarket pickup, introduced in 2018 to sit above the T6 with a wider body, a more comfortable cabin and more equipment. Sold in China as the Shuailing T8, it targets private lifestyle buyers as well as commercial fleets. A heavy-duty T8 Pro version with a stronger chassis and a more powerful diesel later widened the range.
The T8 is a mid-size double-cab pickup in JAC's T-series, placed above the T6 with a more rugged design for lifestyle buyers. It has turbocharged gasoline and diesel four-cylinder engines with rear- or selectable four-wheel drive, for hauling loads and light off-road use. It is aimed at commercial and private buyers in export markets and stresses payload, durability and value. It sits between the T6 and the flagship T9.
