The Jaecoo J5 is the name used in markets such as Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Australia and South Africa for the brand's smallest SUV, launched from 2025. It has the same boxy body, vertical-slat grille and compact size as the model sold elsewhere, for example in the UK, simply as the Jaecoo 5. It comes with petrol and hybrid power and with a battery-electric drivetrain. It sits below the J7 as Jaecoo's cheapest entry point.
