The Jaecoo J7 is the J-badged export name of the model that launched the Jaecoo brand in 2023. It is built on Chery's T1X-derived platform, with a 1.6-litre turbocharged petrol engine and a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. It comes with front- or all-wheel drive, and an SHS plug-in hybrid was added for markets that want electrification. Its slab-sided, upright design and vertical grille bars gave the brand a recognisable identity at once.
