STORY

The XJ was Jaguar's flagship full-size luxury saloon, first launched in 1968 and personally championed by Sir William Lyons. Across its long life it spanned the classic Series I-III cars, the modern X300/X308, and the aluminium X350/X351 generations. Production of the nameplate ended in 2019 after more than five decades.
