X351 · 2009–2019RWD

X351 was the final XJ generation (2009-2019), an aluminium-bodied full-size saloon with dramatic Ian Callum styling that broke from the classic look. Rear-wheel drive, it offered supercharged V6 and V8 petrol engines plus a V6 diesel, and closed out the nameplate in 2019.

STORY

The XJ was Jaguar's flagship full-size luxury saloon, first launched in 1968 and personally championed by Sir William Lyons. Across its long life it spanned the classic Series I-III cars, the modern X300/X308, and the aluminium X350/X351 generations. Production of the nameplate ended in 2019 after more than five decades.
