STORY

The Compass launched in 2007 as one of Jeep's first car-based crossovers, sharing its GS platform with the Patriot and Dodge Caliber to reach more urban buyers. The second-generation MP arrived for 2017 with far more upscale styling on a global small-wide platform, and it has since gained 4xe plug-in-hybrid variants in some markets.
