STORY

The Patriot debuted for 2007 as an affordable compact crossover styled to echo the classic Cherokee, sharing its unibody platform with the Compass and Dodge Caliber. Offered with available Freedom Drive II off-road capability, it remained largely unchanged through its single generation until being retired in 2017 as the new Compass consolidated the segment.
