STORY
The Wrangler debuted in 1986 (YJ) as the successor to the CJ series. It kept the classic body-on-frame, solid-axle, removable-top formula that defines Jeep's off-road identity. The TJ returned to round headlights and coil suspension, the JK introduced a four-door model, and the current JL uses a lot of aluminum and offers 4xe plug-in hybrid power. Through all of them the Wrangler has stayed the brand's best-known trail vehicle. It is one of the most capable and recognizable production off-roaders in the world.
