STORY

The Wrangler debuted in 1986 (YJ) as the successor to the CJ series, keeping the classic body-on-frame, solid-axle, removable-top formula that defines Jeep's off-road identity. Through the TJ's return to round headlights and coil suspension, the four-door-introducing JK, and the current aluminum-intensive JL with available 4xe plug-in hybrid power, the Wrangler has remained the brand's iconic trail machine. It stands as one of the most capable and recognizable production off-roaders in the world.
