The Chinese group Wanxiang bought the remains of Fisker Automotive after its bankruptcy in 2014 and built the business into Karma Automotive. Its first car was an updated Fisker Karma, called the Revero. Deliveries to dealers in the United States began in spring 2017, at a price of about $130,000. The Revero was a plug-in hybrid with a 21.4 kWh battery that gave up to 50 miles on electric power alone, and a gasoline generator extended the total range to 300 miles. Karma is based in Costa Mesa, California, and held its delivery event at its production facility in Moreno Valley.
