Hot hatch version of the CD-generation Ceed. The July 2021 facelift did not drop the GT: the 1.6 T-GDi rated 204 PS remained the flagship of the five-door, road tests of the Ceed GT exist for 2022, and the family was wound down by 2024 to 2025.

STORY

The Ceed (originally cee'd) is Kia's compact car developed specifically for the European market and built at the company's plant in Zilina, Slovakia. The first generation (ED) launched in 2006, followed by the JD in 2012 and the CD in 2018, with the family expanding into hatchback, wagon (Sportswagon), shooting-brake (ProCeed) and crossover (XCeed) bodystyles. The name was restyled from 'cee'd' to 'Ceed' with the third generation.
