K8 3.5 GDi (GL3)

STORY

The Kia K8 (GL3) is a full-size sedan from South Korea that took over from the K7, which was sold as the Cadenza in some markets. Kia released the first pictures on 17 February 2021 and began sales in Korea in April 2021. It shares its mechanicals with the Hyundai Grandeur on a shared platform. The launch lineup in Korea was a 3.5-litre V6 rated at 300 PS and a 2.5-litre four-cylinder at 198 PS, plus an LPG version of the V6. Korean media reported in July 2026 that production of the larger K9 will end at the end of 2026.
