STORY

The first Sorento arrived in 2002 as a body-on-frame SUV, and the US version offered a 3.5-litre V6 rated at 192 hp. The second generation was built from November 2009 at Kia's new West Point, Georgia plant, whose first vehicle it was. Kia showed the third generation in South Korea in late August 2014 and in Paris on 2 October 2014, and it was 95 mm longer than its predecessor. The fourth generation, on the N3 platform, was unveiled in February 2020 and brought hybrid and plug-in hybrid versions.
