STORY

The Tasman is Kia's body-on-frame pickup. Kia gave it a world premiere at the Jeddah International Motor Show on 29 October 2024, after 1,777 specific tests. It rides on a ladder-frame chassis. The Australian-market 2026 model-year 2.2-litre turbo diesel makes 154 kW and 440 Nm, with a braked towing limit of 3,500 kg. Korea priced it on 12 February 2025 and opened orders the next day, with only a 2.5-litre turbo petrol rated at 281 PS and 43.0 kgf m through an 8-speed automatic, from 37.5 million won.
