STORY

The Telluride is Kia's three-row SUV for North America, shown in production form at the Detroit show in January 2019 and built in Georgia. The first generation used a 3.8-litre V6 with 291 hp and 262 lb-ft and an 8-speed automatic. In April 2020 it won World Car of the Year, announced online because of the pandemic. The second generation, revealed in November 2025 ahead of its Los Angeles show debut as a 2027 model, dropped the V6 for a 2.5-litre turbo four with 274 hp and 311 lb-ft, or a turbo hybrid with 329 hp and 339 lb-ft in US-market ratings.
