This XCeed 1.6 GDi PHEV is a plug-in hybrid SUV from the CD.2 generation with five doors and five seats. A 1.6-litre Kappa direct-injection four-cylinder petrol engine makes 141 PS, a 6-speed dual-clutch gearbox drives the front wheels, and the 8.9 kWh battery gives 48 km of electric range.

STORY

The XCeed is the crossover body of the Ceed family in Europe, after the hatchback, ProCeed and Sportswagon. Kia disclosed it on 26 June 2019 and showed it publicly at Frankfurt in September 2019, placing it between the Stonic and the Sportage. The car was in series production at Zilina, Slovakia, by August 2019. A facelift followed on 18 July 2022, with first UK deliveries expected by the end of September 2022. For the 2026 update, German pricing starts at EUR 28,390, and the range has no diesel or plug-in version, with four engines from 115 to 180 PS.
