STORY

Designed by Marcello Gandini at Bertone, the Countach entered production in 1974 and defined the wedge-shaped supercar with its scissor doors. It progressed through the LP400, LP400 S and 5000 S variants, growing wider and adding wings and flared arches over its long run. The Countach became a cultural icon and Lamborghini's flagship for a decade and a half.
