STORY

Marcello Gandini designed the Countach at Bertone. It entered production in 1974 and set the pattern for the wedge-shaped supercar with scissor doors. It went through the LP400, LP400 S and 5000 S variants, growing wider and gaining wings and flared arches over its long run. The Countach became a cultural symbol and Lamborghini's flagship for a decade and a half.
