STORY

The Diablo spawned dedicated racing variants derived from the road car's V12 platform. The 1996 SV-R was built for the single-make Diablo Supertrophy series, while the 2000 GTR was a track-only evolution of the road-going GT with around 590 hp. Both were stripped, caged and produced in small numbers for competition use.
