The Huracan Super Trofeo replaced the Gallardo in Lamborghini's one-make series, and it differed from it in drive: rear wheels only. Its hybrid carbon and aluminium chassis came from the road Huracan and was about 45 percent stiffer in torsion than the Gallardo Super Trofeo's. The composite body was worked out with Dallara Engineering. It was unveiled at The Quail on 15 August 2014 and raced from 2015 in Europe, Asia and North America. It carried the 5.2-litre V10 at 620 CV, weighed 1,270 kg dry and used a six-speed sequential gearbox with a mechanical limited-slip differential. Lamborghini counts 180 built, then 129 of the Super Trofeo EVO shown in September 2017. The EVO2, unveiled in May 2021, runs the championships through the 2026 season.
The Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo is the one-make race car of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo series from 2015, running in successive EVO and EVO2 specifications.
