STORY

The Miura, launched in 1966, is widely regarded as the first modern supercar, pioneering the transverse mid-mounted V12 layout in a road car. Styled by Marcello Gandini at Bertone, its sensuous body and 4.0-litre V12 made it the world's fastest production car of its day. Around 764 were built across the P400, P400 S and P400 SV versions before production ended in 1973.
