STORY

The Murciélago was Lamborghini's V12 flagship from 2001, the first all-new model developed under Audi ownership, styled by Luc Donckerwolke. It used a 6.2-litre (later 6.5-litre) V12 with all-wheel drive and distinctive scissor doors, offered as coupé and roadster. About 4,099 were built through 2010 across the original and the more powerful LP640 and LP670-4 SuperVeloce versions.
