STORY

The Gamma was shown at the 1976 Geneva Motor Show as Lancia's flagship. Pininfarina designed both bodies: a four-door fastback saloon and, from 1977, a two-door coupe. The engines were flat-fours of 2.0 and 2.5 litres, and a fuel-injected 2.5 arrived in 1980. About 22,000 cars were built. Production ended in 1984, and the Thema replaced the Gamma.
