STORY

The Lybra went on sale in 1999 as the replacement for the Dedra, as a saloon and an SW estate. It was built on a platform shared with the Alfa Romeo 156. The styling was retro. The engines included four- and five-cylinder petrol units and 1.9 and 2.4 JTD turbodiesels. Production ended in 2005, with 164,660 cars built.
