STORY

The Thesis was shown at the 2001 Geneva Motor Show and went on sale in Italy in 2002 as the flagship that followed the Kappa. It had retro styling. Engines included a turbocharged 2.0-litre, the 3.2-litre Alfa Romeo V6 and a 2.4 Multijet five-cylinder diesel. It sold far less than the Kappa, and about 16,000 were built before production ended in 2009.
