STORY
The Y appeared in 1995 as the replacement for the Autobianchi Y10, and from the 2003 generation the car took the name Ypsilon. The first generation (840) ran from 1996 to 2003, the second (843) from 2003 to 2011 and the third (846) from 2011 to 2024. The third generation was a five-door hatchback, offered with a 0.9 TwinAir turbo engine from 2011 and a 1.0 mild hybrid from 2020. Lancia presented an all-new Ypsilon on 14 February 2024, built on the Common Modular Platform shared with the Peugeot 208.
