STORY

The LR2 was the North American market name for the second-generation Freelander (L359), sold from the 2008 model year. It offered a more premium compact-SUV package than its predecessor, with a transverse engine and Land Rover's Terrain Response system. It was discontinued after 2015 ahead of the Discovery Sport's arrival.
