The LX is Lexus's full-size luxury SUV, the luxury counterpart to the Toyota Land Cruiser, which debuted in 1996 as the LX 450. It pairs body-on-frame off-road capability with a luxury interior, and grew through the V8-powered LX 470 and LX 570 into a popular choice across the Middle East, Russia and the United States. The current LX 600 switched to a twin-turbo V6 on the new GA-F platform, losing weight while gaining technology and multi-terrain hardware.
The LX is Lexus's full-size body-on-frame flagship SUV, derived from the Toyota Land Cruiser and built for off-road capability with luxury equipment. Across four generations it has moved from a 4.5-litre straight-six, through 4.7-litre and 5.7-litre V8s, to today's 3.5-litre twin-turbo V6.
