STORY

The Mark VIII was Lincoln's final Mark-series personal luxury coupe, produced from 1993 to 1998 on the rear-drive FN10 platform shared with the Ford Thunderbird. It had smooth, rounded styling, a 4.6-liter InTech DOHC V8 and an air-spring suspension. A 1997 facelift added neon-tube taillamps and revised styling, and the model ended as Lincoln refocused on trucks and SUVs.
