STORY
The Deliver 9 arrived in 2020 as Maxus's all-new large van, replacing the ageing V80 that had been carried over from the British LDV Maxus design SAIC acquired in 2010. Unlike its predecessor, it was engineered in-house, with a new platform offering front- or rear-wheel drive, several wheelbase and roof-height combinations, and a 2.0-litre turbo diesel. Battery-electric eDeliver 9 versions followed almost immediately and became the brand's most visible export product in Europe, where the van is sold under the LDV name in several markets.
