The T90 debuted in 2021 as the larger, more modern pickup positioned above the T60 in Maxus's range. It keeps a ladder-frame layout but adds a more car-like cabin, a 2.0-litre bi-turbo diesel and an eight-speed automatic, with coil-sprung multi-link rear suspension on higher grades. A battery-electric eT90 was developed alongside it, reflecting SAIC's push to electrify its commercial line-up.
The Maxus T90 is a larger, more refined mid-size body-on-frame pickup positioned above the T60 as the brand's flagship truck. It is offered with turbo-diesel power and as the fully electric T90 EV, one of the first battery-powered utes in its segment. Sold as the LDV T90 in markets such as Australia and New Zealand, it targets lifestyle and work buyers who want more equipment and modern styling. The T90 showed Maxus's intent to lead in electric pickups, building on its commercial-vehicle background.
