STORY
The Mazda 626, sold in Japan as the Capella, was Mazda's mid-size family car and an export mainstay for over two decades. It moved to front-wheel drive with the GC generation in 1982 and pioneered four-wheel steering on later versions. Popular in the US and Europe, it was replaced by the Mazda6 in 2002.
