STORY
The Biante was a tall eight-seat minivan built from 2008 to 2018, taking over from the Bongo Friendee as Mazda's large people carrier for Japan. Its high roof and sliding doors gave a roomy cabin, and later versions adopted SkyActiv-G engines and the i-stop idle-stop system. Sold mainly in Japan, it ended production in 2018 without a direct replacement.
