STORY

The Mazda3, sold as the Axela in Japan, is a compact car launched in 2003 to replace the Familia/323. It has spanned four generations, from the BK to the current BP of 2019, with the third (BM) introducing Skyactiv technology and Kodo design and the fourth offering the Skyactiv-X compression-ignition engine. It is available as both a sedan and a hatchback.
