STORY

The Mazda6, sold as the Atenza in Japan, is a mid-size car launched in 2002 as the successor to the 626/Capella and an early showcase of Mazda's sporty 'Zoom-Zoom' character. It ran through three generations, ending with the long-lived GJ (2012-2024) that adopted Skyactiv technology and Kodo design. It was offered as a sedan, hatchback and wagon over its life.
