CLE 200 Cabriolet

STORY

The CLE (C236) debuted in 2023 as a single mid-size coupé and cabriolet. It combined four previous body styles into one model line and replaced the C-Class and E-Class coupés and convertibles. It is built on the rear-drive MRA2 architecture shared with the C-Class, and its size falls between the two older models. It has Mercedes' latest MBUX interior and design language. The range runs from the four-cylinder CLE 200 through the six-cylinder CLE 450 4MATIC to the AMG-developed CLE 53 4MATIC+, in coupé, cabriolet and MANUFAKTUR editions. One efficient platform replaces several slow-selling variants, which reflects Mercedes' strategy of simplifying its coupé and convertible offering. It is a recent introduction and shows the current state of the brand's grand-touring two-door line-up.
