STORY

The EQT is the compact all-electric passenger van from Mercedes-Benz, introduced in 2022 as the battery-electric member of the small T-Class MPV family. It was developed within the Mercedes-Renault-Nissan alliance on the W420 platform. It shares its underpinnings with the Renault Kangoo E-Tech and Nissan Townstar and is offered as the front-drive EQT 200. It is aimed at families and small businesses that want an affordable, practical electric people-mover with sliding doors and up to five seats. It sits a class below the larger EQV. It brought the three-pointed star into the compact electric-van segment and shares showrooms with its combustion T-Class sibling. It is Mercedes' most accessible electric van.
