STORY
The EQV is Mercedes-Benz's all-electric interpretation of its V-Class luxury MPV, launched in 2020 as one of the first premium battery-electric people-movers. Built on the W447 van architecture, it pairs a front-mounted motor with a 90 kWh battery in the single EQV 300 trim, seating up to eight with real-world range around 350 km. A 2023 facelift modernized the cabin with the latest MBUX displays and revised switchgear while leaving the drivetrain essentially unchanged. Positioned as a zero-emission shuttle for hotels, executives, and large families, it bridged Mercedes' combustion vans and its dedicated electric-van future. The EQV is set to be succeeded by models on the ground-up VAN.EA platform arriving mid-decade.
