AMG EQE 53 4MATIC+

STORY

AMG's version of the electric EQE saloon was presented on 16 February 2022, five months after the standard V295 car appeared at the Munich show in September 2021. Two permanently excited synchronous machines, one per axle, gave the EQE 43 4MATIC 350 kW and the EQE 53 4MATIC+ 460 kW, and the optional AMG Dynamic Plus package with its boost function raised the 53 to 505 kW and 1,000 Nm. Both used the 90.6 kWh usable battery of the series car and the EVA2 platform that Mercedes had introduced with the EQS, and both came out of Bremen, where EQE production started in 2022. Mercedes quoted 3.5 seconds to 100 km/h for the EQE 53, or 3.3 seconds with the boost function engaged.
