GLB 35 AMG 4MATIC

STORY

Orders for the GLB opened in July 2019 and production began at the end of that year; the AMG version was announced on 28 August 2019, two weeks before the car's show debut at the Frankfurt IAA in September. The GLB 35 4MATIC used the 2.0-litre M260 turbo four with 306 PS and 400 Nm, used the eight-speed Speedshift DCT, and was quoted at 5.2 seconds to 100 km/h with top speed held to 250 km/h. No 45-series GLB followed, so 306 PS stayed the ceiling for the line. The facelift shown on 16 March 2023 left the output where it was and added a 48-volt belt-driven starter-generator contributing 10 kW, along with new lamps and a later MBUX generation.
