STORY

The 300 SE was the top model of the W112 series, a luxury saloon that Mercedes-Benz introduced in 1961 on the Fintail body. It had a 3.0-litre fuel-injected inline-six rated at 160 PS and, from 1964, at 170 PS. Air suspension, power steering and an automatic gearbox were among its features. A coupe and a cabriolet followed in 1962. The saloon was built until 1965, and the cabriolet and coupe until 1967.
