STORY
The Zephyr was a mid-size Mercury built from 1978 to 1983 as the counterpart to the Ford Fairmont, on Ford's rear-wheel-drive Fox platform. It came with a 2.3-litre four or a 3.3-litre six, and the Z-7 was a coupe version. Lincoln later used the Zephyr name for its 2006 sedan, renamed MKZ for 2007.
